INFINITE PLASTIC CREATION
Richard Bone

Infinite Plastic Creation (2007) is another collection of futuristic instrumental songs, except that this time around several of them sound like existential meditations rather than soulful entertainment. They range from the brooding electronics of Ryder Adrift and The Last Soul of Sophia Sinn to the gentle electronic tide of Kharmacom to the romantic theme of Where Stars Await You and the pensive piano-driven melody of Imperial Glide. The lengthy closer, Indiga, Once Again, has a pastoral and almost funereal pace.
Even on his most serious work, though, Bone cannot refrain from delivering a few lightweight nuggets: the danceable, jazzy, exotic Elastic Sahara, Essence of Diamond (the most radio-friendly of the batch), Father of Pearl and Toward Amitaf.
