Once I concentrated  on music for stillness and meditation, the principle qualities of ambient music. While "Cubism For Squares" retains these elements, this album aims for a happy heart. Stillness blossoms into joy, contemporary electronics, melody and movement flow through all eight tracks. Made primarliy for deep headphone listening, some will feel "Cubism For Squares" has a bright energy flowing from the heart which brings an irresistable urge for movement, in what ever the the listener feels.

"Cubism For Squares" (a tongue  in cheek title if ever there was one) is the result of months in the studio, slowly molding every track, trying new electroninc procedure, creating new sonic patterns but always with a (strong) melody. Without melody you only have noise and that has never been present in most of my recordings. But this time a bit of contemporary sound design has wrapped around the core melody, creating something new for me. I hope you like it.   rb

BTW, CD release will follow in late November. And, for the first time in quite a while (for me), January 2026 will see a vinyl release! This time a 180 gram, CLEAR VINYL PLATTER!!
